Community Impact & Outreach: Creating Healthcare Access Where It Matters The Most

At E&H Foundation, our mission centers on bringing quality healthcare access and awareness to underserved communities. Our recent efforts have yielded meaningful progress through grassroots mobilization, stakeholder engagement, and persistent community outreach.

Making Connections That Matter

As of 31st May, 2025, over 7000 community members have formally registered with our programs. Each registration represents a family with hopes for better health outcomes. While registration serves as our first point of connection, our true aim goes deeper: to inform, empower, and transform healthcare experiences for these families.

Reaching Communities Through Health Camps

Through our Comprehensive Preventive Healthcare Program being implemented in Farrukhabad, we have successfully conducted 60+ health camps in just over 5 months (December 2024 to May 2025), directly benefiting more than 7,500 individuals. These camps offer on-the-spot basic health check ups, testing of vital health parameters, with particular focus on specialized interventions like eye and dental check ups, all delivered at the camp sites, right in the heart of these communities.These camps have become vital community touchpoints, offering everything from informative health talks to interactive screenings and consultations. 

Strengthening Local Health Networks

Our journey has been strengthened through collaboration with key local stakeholders like sarpanches,Gram Pradhans, Block Health Officers, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and school teachers and Health Inspectors. Their involvement not only validates our efforts but helps strengthen and sustain the local health ecosystem. By working with these trusted community figures, we build bridges between formal healthcare systems and underserved populations.

Connecting People to Vital Resources

A cornerstone of our mission is linking individuals to existing government health schemes. Since Phase 1 began on 5 December 2024, we have identified 536 individuals eligible for such schemes. Our teams comprising of specialized health experts, namely, Medical Consultants, Nursing Assistants, Optometrists, Dentists as well as the implementation team led by the Project Lead, Team Leads, Project Coordinators, Community Resource Persons, Community Mobilizers, are actively supporting enrollments through documentation assistance, follow-ups, and expert counselling and guidance.

Beyond the Numbers

While these statistics are encouraging, they only tell part of our story. The true impact lies in:

• A mother recognizing when her child's symptoms require medical attention

• A senior citizen discovering healthcare benefits they never knew existed

• A young adult learning they qualify for a life-changing health scheme

• Communities developing greater health literacy and agency

• A girl child gaining continued access to education through health awareness and support programs.

• A woman receiving essential maternal healthcare and preventive screenings.

This is just the beginning of our journey. With every camp, every registration, and every connection, E&H Foundation moves closer to their vision where equitable healthcare is not a privilege, but a fundamental right accessible to all. Through persistent, community-centered efforts, we are creating pathways to better health outcomes in communities that have long faced barriers to quality services in comprehensive preventive healthcare.
